pie making

pie making today we are making sadly my pie did not get chosen but I got to make Amber's.Amber's pie is a Fruit pie first we had to peel all the apples and then start cutting them up after we cut them up Megan stewed them. My pie is a Apple blueberry and cinnamon pie with cardamom.when the Apples were s Amber put the raspberries blueberries and strawberries with peaches into the pan with stewed Apple put hundreds of thousands on it. 

the disco

on Friday we had a rural schools disco this first me and Jennifer went over to the face painting and Jennifer got a green unicorn horn and too  pink flowers on her cheek.  I got a blue unicorn horn and to Green stars. I got a slushie some pizza and popcorn it was fun.

Apple blueberry and cinnamon pie

for the pie I am making apple blueberry and cinnamon . this is my poster it has 2 pictures of pies. I was going to make apple crumble pie with cinnamon but I chose apple blueberry and cinnamon.we had to put detail and important  information on to our Poster. I hop my pie is yummy.

herb testing

today we did some herbs testing for our pies that we are making . the  herbs that we tested are

Rosemary thyme garlic ,chives mustard seeds oregano, parsley chilli flakes mint sage, and bazl.     the pie I am making is apple and blueberry and cinnamon or venison and Rosemary.

my diorama

this is my diorama  it is at the waterfall at Waihirere .  we found lots of wild Kai on the trail.    like kawakawa   ear -fungus  piko-piko.  some people did it on kaity beach and there kai was kina and octopus.

last week we made a diorama my one was themed on why Waihi bush at  the waterfal mine was the  Only One that had sand around the little pool for the water fall  to go in to.

my school immersion week

on the first day of our school immersion some people came to talk about of what was healthy Kai and what was not healthy Kai. on Tuesday we went for our first trip to cedenco Factory. after we went to the Enviro Centre  we sorted seeds and had fun. then another person time to talk to us about Kai Moana. the day after that we were going to kaiti beach to find some some different types of fish we so little fish and some octopus in the rock pools then we went to the bush to learn about wild Kai Sam the tramp man was there  he told us which leaves to you can eat which leaves you can't he also taught us  that you can eat pekopeko.
